Ronald Feinberg - Chair, Professional Advisory Board
Ronald F. Feinberg, M.D., Ph.D., is Board-certified in reproductive
endocrinology and infertility, as well as obstetrics and gynecology,
and is the IVF Medical Director for Reproductive Associates of Delaware
[ www.reproductiveassociates.com ] . He is also an associate professor
(adjunct) at Yale University and an attending physician at the Christiana
Care Health System in Newark, Delaware.
Dr. Feinberg graduated with honors from La
Salle College in Philadelphia, and jointly received his medical degree
and PhD in biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania. He
completed his internship and residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital,
and his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the Hospital
of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Feinberg served on the full-time faculty
of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine for ten years,
and most recently as adjunct faculty at Yale University School of
Medicine. He lectures,
consults, and writes frequently about vital women's health issues and
research, and has coauthored more than forty articles, reviews, and
book chapters. Dr. Feinberg is the author of a new book entitled
Healing Syndrome O: A Strategic Guide to Fertility, Polycystic Ovaries,
and Insulin Imbalance (Avery Penguin, 2004). He resides in New
Jersey, with his wife and 3 children.
Eileen Bertelli--consultant in the book publishing
industry
Eileen Bertelli is currently a consultant in
the book publishing industry. She
has worked with publishers large and small in editorial, sales and
marketing positions on books from The Healthy Dog & Cat Care Book
to General H. Norman Schwarzkpf's biography to Prescription for Nutritional
Healing. She has also worked in real estate, in bookstores, and
as a writer of magazine articles on health and wellness among other
topics. For the last few years she has focused her editorial
and sales efforts on health books ranging from women's health to cookbooks
to fitness titles. It was while working at Avery, a health book
division of Penguin USA, that Eileen had the good fortune to work with
Dr. Ronald Feinberg on the publication of his book, Healing Syndrome
O, A Strategic Guide to Fertility, Polycystic Ovaries, and Insulin
Imbalance. A business graduate of Empire/State University of New York,
Eileen will soon begin work on a master's in social welfare. She lives
in New York City where she and her husband pursue their interests in
books, art, theater and sports.

Ira Studin is the president of Stellar Managed
Care, LLC. Stellar
Managed Care provides strategic consulting and business development
services to pharmaceutical companies. Typical engagements include
primary market research based on in-depth phone interviews [IDIs] and
advisory boards; business unit and product strategy formulation; brand
development; competitive product assessments; program development around
disease management; and account management support.
Dr. Studin has 20 plus years of professional
experience in managed care, hospital and healthcare consulting environments. Prior
to establishing Stellar Managed Care in 1997, he was president of WellCare
University - the think tank and center for strategic planning and product
development of WellCare , a New York HMO. Previous positions
include vice president of Preferred Health Strategies and assistant
director of health services for Empire Blue Cross .
Dr. Studin is the author of Strategic Healthcare
Management: Lessons From Top Management Experts on the Business of
Managed Care (Irwin Professional Publishing/McGraw-Hill, 1995) . His articles have
appeared in such publications as Managed Care, Modern Healthcare, Medical
Interface, Product Management Today, and Health and Hospitals Networks
. He is also a frequent public speaker.
Ira received his B.A. from Colgate University, M.P.H. from the University
of California , Los Angeles, and Ph.D. from the University of California
